Oakley’s Gift’s first coffee morning was a huge success. We were lucky enough to receive an amazing amount of donations to sell. The raffle was incredible, and we had enough cake to feed an army. Everyone who attended, shared or donated in any way made such a difference. That morning we raised £797.33, and that afternoon members of the Comrades Club donated more in exchange for the cake left on the bar. Reece’s hair was chopped after being sponsored by family and friends for Oakley’s Gift, and the hair is going to another charity called The Little Princess Trust. This charity makes wigs for children who have lost their hair to due cancer and other illnesses. A whopping 15″ were chopped by Heidi Pinner who kindly travelled from Colchester to cut Reece’s hair.
